so now that i'm all a'college, i've decided to move most of my new work to this site: www.watchmaker1331.tumblr.com at least for the next few months. it's just a little cleaner and more academic, i think. i will still definitely be perusing y'all's stuff on here, though. too good to pass up. addendum: also, check this shit out: www.womenswork.tumblr.com this is my photography class's blog on female photographers. it's not not quite complete yet, but it's going to be pretty ace, with good articles on interesting ladies like Mary Ellen Mark, Vera Luter, etc. has some good links if you're doing a project of your own. anyhow. look at it.

these new prints are all for my scholastic art contest portfolio...the unifying theme is "ars gratia artis," or art for art's sake. it's just a few recreations of famous art pieces, some oil painted and some not (because i'm lazy). maybe if i'm lucky i'll win something. hope you like them. ~wm
